The Meaning Of Love

There is a time when I wrote a status of Facebook, a memorable C.S. Lewis quote about love; "If you don't love God, then how can you love anyone?". Well, I already forgot the details of the sentence of it. Anyway, there's this guy who said that's just BULLCRAP. He thinks that how can we love God and anyone equal? Human are just a piece of trash, and God isn't. Jeez, I think again. How much arrogance is in this man, thinking he can't judge men like that?? I hope God bless this man and open his eyes.
Back to topic, YES it's true that we are sinful, no exception. And also this guy I mentioned reminded me of Gandhi. Gandhi once said he doesn't like the Christian because they said they are the follower of Christ but yet everyone still doing against God's will. C'mon Mr. Gandhi. Nobody's perfect you know. Remember that the flesh is weak, but the soul is willing. And it's okay too for not being okay, but it's REALLY not okay for keeping that way.
Oh yeah, I also remember that guy also said he is "Open-Christian". What's that mean? I thought a Christian is able to love one another, not treating everyone like a douchebag. You want more proof that it isn't so-called "Open Christian"?? There is one obvious proof. God was willing to die for us. He really LOVE us the pukes. He even said "Father, forgive them for they don't know what they done". See? What kind of man would say such things with that great pain? Still don't believe it? Okay, open your bible: Matthew 5:43-44.
"You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you."
Jesus himself said that. So it's undeniable that we must love everyone, including your own enemy. I mean, if your enemy hit you and you just treating them like he's your friend, he'll be confused right? Then he'll be curious, in what kind of power would you do that to them? And that is your job to teach them The true meaning of LOVE.
Now you see how LOVE works in all of us?? That's really cool right? At first, I don't know what Mr. Lewis mean by that, when I wrote that status. I just wanna impress anyone with some cool words back there. Hehe, sorry. But now, I think I understand right about it, just as much as I understand the Bible that once I doubt. And hmm I hope my opinion about this eternal love really help you understand about Him. I really hope so.
